Fees

The amount of the fees is discussed at the first meeting. It depends on the complexity of the case and the importance of the interests involved. There are several billing options available. Whichever option is chosen, the firm ensures that its fees are completely transparent and issues an invoice detailing the nature of the services provided.

Flat-rate billing

Lump-sum billing involves setting a fixed amount for a given legal service, irrespective of the time spent on the case. This method enables the client to know the cost of the service in advance, thus providing budgetary predictability. It is suitable for cases with well-defined tasks.

Time-based billing

Time-based invoicing involves invoicing fees according to the number of hours spent on an assignment. Each hour of work is recorded and billed at a predefined hourly rate. This method offers a high degree of flexibility, as it allows us to take into account the specifics and evolution of the case. It is particularly suitable for cases where the duration and workload are difficult to predict in advance.

In order to ensure a minimum of predictability, the client is given a range of fees in advance and is provided with weekly information on the amount of the fees, together with details of the work carried out.

Contingent fee

The success fee is an additional fee that the lawyer receives depending on the success of the case. It is a percentage of the sums obtained or saved thanks to the lawyer's intervention. This fee constitutes an additional incentive to obtain the best possible results, but our rules of professional conduct require it to be combined with another billing formula.
